Is Wedd.ai free to use?
Yes, to start. Basic is free for 2 weeks, with no card needed. It covers up to 50 guests, 10 contact groups, 4 events, 2 forms, 25 tasks, 100 WhatsApp messages, 1 GB of gallery storage and starter AI usage for descriptions and the AI assistant. It is for you and one team member.
What do I get with Pro?
Pro unlocks the whole platform for one wedding: up to 500 guests, unlimited events, forms, tasks and contact groups, up to 10 team members, 200 GB of gallery storage, 2,000 WhatsApp messages, the Budget Command Center, the guest portal, AI logo generation and 20x the AI usage of Basic.
Is ₹5,999 the regular Pro price?
No. ₹5,999 is a launch offer for the first 200 Pro weddings. After that, Pro is ₹12,000 per wedding. If you buy Pro for a wedding during the offer, that wedding keeps the launch price. The offer covers Pro only; add-ons like Bring Your Own WhatsApp are not discounted.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time payment per wedding. It is not monthly and not priced per guest. You keep access until 2 months after your wedding date, which leaves time to wrap up the gallery, thank-yous and final payments. Basic is free for 2 weeks.
When do I need the Big plan?
Choose Big when you are running multiple weddings, or one wedding with more than 500 guests. You get everything in Pro with custom limits on guests, WhatsApp messages, gallery storage, team members and AI usage, plus Bring Your Own WhatsApp, WhatsApp template support and a managed wedding included. Pricing depends on your celebration, so talk to us and we will share a quote.
I'm a wedding planner. Which plan should I use?
Couples and planners use the same plans. Start on Basic, upgrade each client wedding to Pro when it needs more, and talk to us about the Big plan if you run multiple weddings or weddings with more than 500 guests.
What happens when I hit a limit?
Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. You get a heads-up when you are close to a limit. When you reach a Basic limit on guests, events, forms, tasks, messages, storage or AI usage, Wedd.ai shows an upgrade prompt so you can move that wedding to Pro and carry on.
Do guests in the Not-Invited group count towards my guest limit?
No. Guests you park in the Not-Invited group don't count towards your 50 (Basic) or 500 (Pro) guest limit, so you can keep the full family list in one place.
Do my guests pay anything?
Never. Guests get invites and updates on WhatsApp, and on Pro and Big weddings they get free access to the Wedd.ai app through the guest portal to find their photos, upload their own, and see event details and help contacts.
What if I run out of WhatsApp messages?
On Pro, top up at ₹2 per message and your invites, reminders and RSVP follow-ups keep going. On Basic, upgrade the wedding to Pro for 2,000 messages and top-ups.
Can invites go out from my own WhatsApp number?
Yes, with the Bring Your Own WhatsApp (BYOW) add-on at ₹2,999 per wedding, one-time. Connect your own WhatsApp Business number and invites, reminders and RSVPs go out from your number and brand. With coexistence, you can keep using the WhatsApp Business app on your phone at the same time. BYOW is included in the Big plan.
Can you get WhatsApp templates approved on my own number?
Yes. With the WhatsApp template support add-on, our team drafts custom templates for invites, reminders and RSVP follow-ups and gets them approved by Meta on your own number. Templates need re-approval when you connect your own number, so allow a few days. It starts at ₹3,000 per wedding and is included in the Big plan.
Can your team manage the wedding for us?
Yes. With the managed wedding add-on, our team helps set up your wedding, import guest lists, run invites and RSVP follow-ups and handle guest queries. It starts at ₹4,000 per wedding, and we will share a quote for your wedding. It is included in the Big plan.
